About the Role

Cleaning & Waste Removal

• Sweep and clean outdoor areas to remove litter, debris, and leaves etc. This includes:
  • Streets and walkways.
  • Areas next to highways and properties such as backings, channels, footways, planters, shrubbed areas, and grass verges.

Highways

• Travel with colleagues to usual geographical area.
• When required, travel with colleagues to other locations to carry out responsive cleaning e.g. when something unexpected has happened e.g. a spillage, RTA, or dumping of waste.

Housing Estates

• Sweep and clean other outdoor areas and fixtures such as carparks, courtyards and benches to remove litter, debris, leaves, etc.
• Assist with the moving of items that have been illegally dumped such as furniture and white goods.
