Service Manager – Supported Accommodation

Doncaster

£450 per day

To provide strategic leadership, management and professional oversight of Supported Accommodation services for young people aged 16+, including those in care, care leavers, and vulnerable young people requiring semi‑independent support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Supported Accommodation provision meets statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations and Ofsted expectations.
• To act as the Registered Service Manager for Supported Accommodation Service.
• Ensure safe and supportive environment within every supported accommodation for our children and young people and our staff.
• Provide strategic management and professional advice to the Team Managers on statutory and safeguarding matters. 
• Ensure that all relevant action plans, policies and statutory requirements are effectively developed and implemented.
• Ensure that legislative and procedural standards are adhered to and that actions identified in inspections and during external scrutiny visits are responded to and acted upon appropriately and that the appropriate inspection body is told of any significant changes, developments or significant incidents within the service.
• Ensure that homelessness presentations are managed in line with statutory duties, safeguarding requirements and joint working arrangements.
• Oversee decision making, escalation pathways and multi agency coordination for young people presenting as homeless or at risk of homelessness.
