Service Manager – Residential Child Care
Doncaster
£450 per day
To provide strategic leadership, management and advice on all issues related to services to Children in Care, namely: –
- Residential homes for children.
- Outcomes for children in care
- Participation of children in care
- To provide effective leadership, co-ordination and management of our Children’s Homes.
- To ensure the highest possible standards of care and security for looked after children and young people.
- To make a positive andeffective contribution to the leadership of Doncaster Children’s Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure our homes meet all statutory requirements and to directly supervise the home managers to ensure positive outcomes.
- To act as the Responsible Individual for children’s homes as required.
- Ensure safe and supportive environment within every residential home for our children and young people and our staff.
- Provide strategic management and professional advice to the Residential Homes Managers on statutory and safeguarding matters.
- Ensure that all relevant action plans, policies and statutory requirements are effectively developed and implemented.
