Highways Communications Officer
Manchester
£32.95ph – Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Duties:
- Develop and deliver communication plans for resurfacing programmes
- Coordination with the Planned Maintenance team
- Work closely with
- Team Leader
- Engineers
- Clerk of Works
- Permit Officer
- Contractors
- Asset Team
- Gather accurate, up-to-date information on:
- Programmes
- Phasing and sequencing of works
- Material/product selection and the scenarios of when they are chosen
- Risks and delays
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate communication with key stakeholders:
- Local councillors and MPs
- TfGM Bus Team
- Emergency services
- Businesses and schools
- Public transport operators
- Provide advance briefings so stakeholders can prepare and respond to enquiries.
- Attend meetings or briefings with the highways delivery team.
