Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments.
• Manage a varied caseload of children and families in need of support.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children.
• Undertake home visits, build rapport with families, and ensure that appropriate
• interventions are put in place.
• Produce high-quality assessments and reports for management and court
• purposes.
• Respond swiftly to referrals, assessing risk and need to ensure timely and
• effective interventions.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/Diploma in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience within a Duty and Assessment team or similar front-line
• social work.
