Assistant Market Officer 

Huddersfield

Please note this is a temporary Assistant Market Officer post for approximately 6 months. 

For this role we require the following: 

• Must be able to work across 7 days a week. Mixed shift patterns, maximum 6am – 7pm, must be reliable and flexible.
• Must be willing to work weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. 
• Must be able to drive and have a vehicle to accommodate 6am starts at Dewsbury and Huddersfield; there is no early public transport between Dewsbury and Huddersfield
• Willing to travel to different market locations.
• Preferable cleaning, security and health and safety experience.
• Must be willing to clean public toilets. This is not like cleaning own domestic toilet.
• Ability to do heavy duty cleaning and deal with biological hazards
• Ability to do heavy manual handling to erect market stalls; must be physically fit
• Willing to work outside in all weathers.
• Must have own steel toe capped boots with ankle support, and waterproof jacket, other uniform items will be provided.
