About the Role
You will manage a diverse caseload within a framework of reflective supervision, conducting analytical assessments and developing SMART care plans that support positive outcomes for children and young people in care. You’ll work directly with children to understand their lived experiences, ensuring their voices are heard and their stories are honoured through quality life-story work.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Completion of ASYE plus at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of Signs of Safety, or willingness to train
- Skilled in strengths-based and relationship-based approaches
- Experience working with children in care, court work, and complex family situations
- Commitment to reflective practice, ongoing development, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality casework and ensure statutory compliance
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and partners
- Complete timely reports for reviews, court, and planning meetings
- Coordinate multi-agency interventions and monitor care plans
- Promote the rights and views of children in care
- Keep accurate, GDPR-compliant case records using digital systems
