Temporary, Full Time

£233 PAYE / £299 Umbrella

The Role – Mid Essex Neighbourhood Team

As a Senior Social Worker within the Mid Essex Neighbourhood Team (covering Chelmsford, Maldon and Braintree), you will:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Provide specialist advice and support to colleagues
• Undertake assessments, reviews, mental capacity assessments and safeguarding work
• Work closely with health, housing and voluntary sector partners
• Promote independence, recovery and positive outcomes

You will have:

• At least 3 years’ post-qualified Social Work experience
• Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience working in complex adult social care settings
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Understanding of commissioned care packages and financial implications
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to meet mobility requirements) is essential, as the role involves travel across Essex.
