Crime Investigator – Sussex Police
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

£18.59 per hour PAYE

Office based

Driving licence essential, force car provided

• We are pleased to be supporting an exciting opportunity to join Sussex Police as a Crime Investigator on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Successful applicants will support a significant and complex investigation into potential offences at a large medical establishment in Sussex. The investigation involves a substantial number of cases relating to concerns over the treatment and care provided to patients.
• These cases are deeply impactful on the families of victims and survivors, and the successful candidates will play an important role in ensuring that allegations are investigated thoroughly, professionally and sensitively. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help establish the facts, gather and assess evidence, support investigative activity and contribute towards bringing any potential offenders to justice.
• The operation comprises a team of experienced Detectives and Criminal Investigators committed to progressing this important investigation. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-profile, meaningful work that supports victims and their families, upholds public confidence and helps ensure the safety of the wider community.
• The role will suit individuals with strong investigative skills, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive and complex information with professionalism and discretion.
