Youth Justice Service Team Manager

The post holder will carry out the day-to-day management, development, and delivery of a multi-agency Youth Justice Service (YJS). Provide effective leadership, management, and direction to the designated YJS team including:

• Monitoring standards and service delivery
• Ensuring that the YJS risk management meetings are utilised effectively to identify children and risk of harm through the youth justice system and that robust plans are in place
• Children have individual intervention plans and victim profiles which address risk, needs and vulnerabilities
• Safeguards and external controls is effectively managed to protect the public and safeguard children by working with police colleagues and across the partnership

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/Diploma in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
