Requirements
- An vacancy exists for an Information Governance Officer to work within the Corporate Information Governance Team.
- The post will play a key role within the team to ensure the Council’s compliance with the required standards for information governance, including relevant legislation and policy.
- Technical knowledge and previous experience of work relating to Freedom of Information and Data Protection are essential, along with experince in the redaction of complex subject access requests.
- It is essential that the applicant can demonstrate that they are competent in all aspects of communications, have good data analytical skills, have a strong customer focus, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Team working skills are also essential for this role.
