Youth Justice Case Worker

Our Client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Justice Case Worker to join our dynamic Youth Justice Service team. As a Youth Justice Case Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in diverting children away from the youth justice system, helping prevent offending and re-offending, and reducing the use of custody. You’ll work closely with children, young people, and their families, adopting a child-first, offender-second approach to build resilience and sustain positive change.

Preferred Requirements:

• Extensive experience in holding both OCD and court cases within a Youth Justice service
• Proven track record of working effectively with children, young people, and their families, using a trauma-informed and whole-family approach
• Strong understanding of the statutory role of the Youth Justice Service and the ability to contribute to multi-agency public protection and safeguarding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients
• Proficiency in case management and the ability to manage a complex caseload with competing priorities
