Seasonal Park Warden – Swindon

£13.47ph
 
Within this particular role as a seasonal country park warden, your core duty will be to run and maintain the seasonal facilities at Coate Water Country Park. These include – Pitch & Putt kiosk and course, crazy golf course and The Splash Park.
 
Core duties will include
 
Running the pitch & putt kiosk – Selling tickets and using card payment machines, issuing equipment, selling and re-stocking cold drinks/ice creams and engaging with the public for general information.
 
Course maintenance for both the pitch & putt and crazy golf – Setting up and closing down the courses, operating the sprinkler systems, maintaining the greens and fairways, maintaining the crazy golf course and surfaces, mowing (ride on and push) plus some vegetation management (shrub beds and weeding).
 
Running the Splash Park – Water quality checks throughout the day, cleaning and maintenance of the system, splash pad and surrounding area, bin emptying and litter picking, maximum capacity checks, enforcement of splash park rules, general public engagement and information, toilet checks/cleaning.
