Deputy Manager – Manager Children & Young persons services – East London and Essex borders
  
Are you a passionate Deputy Manager looking for your next role? 4Recruitmeny Services are recruiting a Deputy Manager to work within Children and Young people services based in East London and Essex borders
  
Pay Rates: £33 – 39k annually.
  
Information on role:             
Successful candidates will be offered 37 hours per week.
  
What you will be doing:

  • Always Comply with Safeguarding and Adult Protection procedures
  • Always Comply with the Health and Safety policies
  • Ensure that the service meets the mandated training and Health and Safety compliance targets
  • Make a significant contribution to operating a compliant service in respect of all relevant legislation and regulation
  • Always adhere to all Company policies and procedures
  • Always promote and ensure the good reputation of the Company
  • Always act in a professional manner, operating with integrity, respecting individuals and maintaining confidentiality
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent care and quality
  • Ensure that the service delivery is always compliant with the Company policies and procedures and all regulations and standards
  • Leading by example ensure that the highest standards of person-centred care and support are always delivered
  • Demonstrate evidence of quality assurance and best practice ensuring work practises/processes are managed effectively.
  • Ensure that assessments, care/support planning and related documents are robust, effective and regularly reviewed.
  • Act as a service level champion for a culture of high performance
  • Demonstrate effective leadership of the people who work at the service
  • Encourage staff to keep taking Heartwood Care Group values into account in daily work
  • Inspire, motivate and develop an engaged workforce with a strong commitment to nurturing staff potential and developing skills through effective supervision and appraisal.
  • Ensure that staff are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery considering resource allocation, skill mix and utilisation
  • Demonstrate excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • Achieved Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma with social care pathway (or equivalent)
  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services with Children and Young People’s Residential Management Pathway (or equivalent)
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation (Essential)
  • Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting (Essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations guiding the provision of care and support
