Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (37hrs per week)
Pay: £30.00ph paid weekly via umbrella
Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term
Duties
Produce, report on and maintain detailed cash flow profiles for the Commercial Teams projects, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with procurement and financial procedure rules. Prepare capital and life-cycle cost feasibility studies for construction schemes to determine project affordability and viability for capital construction projects.
Provide and manage a comprehensive contract management service for the Commercial (Delivery) team in Property Design and Maintenance.

- Prepare Bills of Quantity/Schedules of Work for the project construction works to enable tendering contractors to price on a consistent and unambiguous basis.
- Gather, analyse/interpret tendered cost information to populate the QS Construction Cost Database and maintain as required.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate Value Management workshops and studies on projects to ensure that industry standard value engineering techniques are employed to enable the scheme to be delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Contribute towards the programme planning, resource planning, budget planning, quality of service and value for money of the sections projects. Take a lead role in ensuring that fee income targets are successfully forecast, monitored and recovered.
- Take a lead role in the business development aspects of your Service area, ensuring sufficient new business is generated to ensure the financial viability of the Quantity Surveying services, preparing and agreeing fee bids with clients and also managing the cost of the service within the agreed fee levels.
- Prepare and agree interim and final valuations in accordance with the contract, ensuring agreed final accounts are delivered within established project financial parameters.
- Prepare, manage and monitor the project budgets. Be responsible for budget management of your allocated projects, reporting regularly on financial position in accordance with Clients requirements and ensuring projects are delivered in the most cost effective, efficient way. Provide high accountability for the effective use of considerable financial resources.
