Are you a Senior Social Worker with a Practice Educator qualification? Are you passionate about developing the next generation of social workers? This might be the perfect role for you!
 
Role Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Practice Development Officer to collaborate closely with our Principal Social Worker on the Social Work Degree Apprenticeship Scheme. Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care until 31st March 2025, this is a unique chance to shape the future of social work in our community.
What You’ll Do:
  • Support Year-One Apprentices: Provide guidance and practical support for our first-year apprentices, helping them develop essential knowledge and experience.
  • Develop the Social Work Degree Apprenticeship Handbook: Create a comprehensive guide tailored to our Reading-based program.
  • Recruitment Process Development: Shape our 2025 intake process to attract and select the best candidates.

About You:
