Job Description
- Collaborate with the Head of Service and the Economic Development Team to develop and deliver innovative business engagement and enterprise programmes.
- Contribute to the achievement of the borough's inclusive economy ambitions, ensuring sustainable growth and opportunities for all.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your ideas and initiatives can shape the future of economic development in the area.
- Provide support to the Head of Service and the wider Economic Development Team in the development and successful delivery of new approaches to business engagement and enterprise programmes and projects.
- Ensure the achievement of the boroughs Industrial Strategy and inclusive economy ambitions.
- Possess a strong understanding of the local economic landscape and the challenges faced by businesses in the area.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders.
- Bring a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to think creatively to address complex economic development challenges.
- Relevant experience in economic development, business support, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address economic development needs.
- A passion for driving positive change and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and sustainable local economy.
