Anti-Social Behaviour Officer - Edmonton

Are you a passionate, dedicated Anti-Social Behaviour Officer looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a Resident Relationship Team based in Edmonton.

Umbrella Pay- £24.99 per hour.

3 months initially.

9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

35 hours per week.

The role:

  • Manage a full spectrum of council housing anti-social behaviour casework.
  • One day per week is necessary to be spent in the office, with the remainder split between remote work from home and visiting residents across our estates.
  • Investigate and assess reports of ASB, including noise disturbances, domestic abuse incidents, and instances of cuckooing and gather evidence.
  • Conduct regular site visits to engage with residents and address ASB concerns firsthand.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents affected by ASB, facilitating access to appropriate services and resources and facilitate resolutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate ASB and promote safe and harmonious communities.
  • Issue warning and notices.
  • Liaise with external agencies, law enforcement, and legal representatives as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of ASB incidents and interventions.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar ASB role within a housing or community setting.
  • Practical experience of enforcement and supporting victims, backed by evidence of specialist knowledge of ABS issues.
  • Strong understanding of council housing ASB policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage challenging and sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
